Third Annual Drive Less Challenge Starts Earth day!

Last year over 170 Los Altos & Los Altos Hills residents helped us win the Peninsula wide challenge by logging over 10,000 green miles by taking the train or bus, cycling, walking or carpooling. They prevented about 6600 pounds of CO2 from entering the atmosphere.

For a two-week period starting on Earth Day, April 22, you can challenge yourself to use an alternative form of transportation to run errands and to get to work or school. By leaving your car at home, you can improve your health, save money, conserve energy and eliminate CO2 emissions.
